Grandview is one of the fastest growing communities that has made a name for itself in the South Surrey region. Originally consumed by private acreages, the Grandview community has undergone a major transformation over the last decade. Home to one of the most vibrant shopping districts, which includes The Shops at Morgan Crossing and Grandview Corners, full of amenities and stores such as banks, fashion, home décor, restaurants, liquor stores, grocery stores, exercise centers and larger retailers such as Walmart, Winners and Home Depot to name a few.
Centered around an Urban Village of retail space, the Grandview neighbourhood consists mainly of high density affordable multifamily housing and single detached homes. Grandview’s vision and offering is to provide a neighbourhood that is pedestrian friendly and has a diverse offering of amenities that should fulfill the shopping and recreational needs of its local residents. If you’re looking to situate on a private acreage while still enjoying the amenities Grandview has to offer, you can look in the undeveloped parts of the Grandview neighbourhood for a suitable option.
Aside from some of the best shopping in South Surrey, if you’re looking to make use of a well planned recreation facility, you can visit the Grandview Heights Aquatics Centre. This recreation center features a standard Olympic size pool and leisure pool with a lazy river, water slide, hot tubs, steam rooms, saunas and a sizable fitness and weight room. If you can’t find what you need at the Grandview Heights Aquatics Centre, you can visit Steve Nash Fitness World or Club 16 by Trevor Linden in the heart of the Grandview neighbourhood.
If you’re looking to spend time outdoors, you can find your way around the neighbourhood through the well planned walking routes and trails. If you’re looking to enjoy a neighbourhood park whether you’re on your own, walking your dog or with your family, you can visit the Morgan Heights Linear Park, Oliver Park or Greenridge Park.
The Grandview neighbourhood offers quick transportation access for commuters looking to leave South Surrey. It is just a short distance to Highways 99 and 91 to and from the Greater Vancouver area and Highways 10 and 15 for commuters to Surrey, Langley and the rest of the Fraser Valley.
